U15 A & B TeamsOn Friday, 15th October, the Mansfield Junior Badminton Club kicked off the 2010 / 2011 season with the under 15’s playing their 1st league match.   The 1st and 2nd teams, of the Mansfield Junior Badminton Club, played against each other.  The team mates had some close fought matches with the 1st team coming out on top, winning 11 games to 4, claiming 3 points.  The 2nd team claimed 2 points by winning 4 of their matches.

U15s Match v Sunrise

Mansfield Juniors Badminton Club U15 B TeamLast Friday saw Mansfield Junior Badminton Club’s Under 15’s 2nd team continuing the season by playing their second match against Sunrise Junior Badminton Club, from Bingham in Nottinghamshire.  There were some very hard fought games and Sunrise took an early lead but Mansfield Juniors managed to hold their nerve and pull back some impressive games to finally win the match by 9 games to 6 and take 3 points from the match.

I have played badminton for 40 years and work in energy efficiency, mainly in schools. I am Chair of Governors at Flying High Academy Ladybrook, so have experience of Safeguarding to a high standard. I have a daughter, Emily, at the club and a 2-year-old son, Jason, who wants to join as soon as he can.
